Our AquaBot display is a nice display with some interactive elements. It contains a handfull of BEAM driven bots, and some ROV's designed with kids in mind.
ROV's or even robots for that matter don't need to be expensive. This first ROV cost $7 at a local toy store...
This was our first AquaBot. It was designed by Steve Morley, after he and his children successfully built the "full-size" one based on the excellent book by by Harry Bohm and Vickie Jensen. This AquaBot is nice and easy to construct, you can follow his instructions here.
What's the point of having ROV's unless you can prove your skills with them? Here's your chance to hone your skills, and learn to master the unpredictable underwater currents in our AquaBot tank. Whether it's doing underwater hurdles, or retrieving sunken treasure, this is lots of fun.
