The Table Top Maze

Our displays are typically constructed from door blanks and are hinged so that we can carry them from one location to the next. With this in mind, many of these displays are geared towards the smaller sized bots.

This display requires two of these, they are setup next to each other to create a much larger maze area.

The Table Top Maze is unique in that it can be configured for multiple maze types. It (like all our TTD's) can be run with either wire-controlled bots, or with fully autonomous robots. It currently supports these popular mazes:

The way we're able to setup (quickly by the way) the different mazes, is that the entire unit was designed with a modular system in mind. The maze walls are simply "plugged" into the appropriate places, and presto, you've got an obstruction. By removing all the walls, we're able to do line mazes, by installing a center wall, we're able to run symmetrical line mazes. When we get to the Wall Mazes, we do the same, but instead of dropping a sheet of paper, we build up other walls to make the maze.

When configured for Wall mazes, the walls are 6" in height and on 12" centers. Usually, they are opaque, but we do have some special walls that can be inserted during competitions to increase the difficulty. There is also the choice to add obstructions which can hinder the robot's navigation... [an error occurred while processing this directive]
